What to Expect
Professionalism & Attendance
- Arrive on time and follow your placement site's schedule, dress code, and sign-in procedures.
- Notify your site mentor teacher and me as early as possible if you'll be late or absent.
- Treat your placement as a professional worksite — staff meetings, classroom procedures, and school policies apply to you the same as any staff member.
Communication
- We'll set a recurring weekly check-in (15–20 minutes) at our first meeting. Come with questions, upcoming lesson plans, or anything you'd like a second read on.
- Between check-ins, email is the fastest way to reach me — I aim to respond within one business day.
- For day-to-day site logistics, your site mentor teacher is your first point of contact.
